Top 5 Reasons Your Lawn Should Be Synthetic Grass
Let’s take a look at some of the simple, practical and
compelling reasons why every homeowner should consider synthetic
grass:
Water: If you have an average-size lawn, and you
pay a water bill, the first and most obvious advantage of
synthetic grass is the 56,000 gallons of water you’re
going to save every year. For most families, the lawn makes
up more than half of the total water consumption in any given
year. Even so, very few lawns stay beautifully green or evenly
colored all the time.
Maintenance: Lawns are probably the most
labor-intensive item in a home. It goes without saying that
mowing, fertilizing, weed spraying and all the other maintenance
tasks associated with a lawn don’t apply to synthetic
grass.
Costs: Water rates in Southern California are
going up as the available supply goes down. A
“natural” lawn will become more and more expensive
over the next few years.
Drainage: The key to installing synthetic grass
is the base on which it lies. When the base is installed
correctly, no weeds, burrowing animals or pets are going be able
to come through from below, yet the lawn will drain perfectly.
Wear and Tear: Even though it is soft underfoot,
synthetic grass is incredibly tough. Unlike ordinary grass, it
doesn’t matter whether it’s wet or dry, the strength
is not affected. Your kids (and the dog!) can play endless games
of touch football, frisbee, or catch without ever wearing it down
or messing things up. And there are never any grass stains to get
out of juniors clothes.
Our Synthetic Grass is "Green" too!
So from most points of view, synthetic grass is more practical,
more durable and “greener” than regular grass.
It’s worth a long look next time you plan to upgrade your
yard or increase the curb appeal of your home.
